Carmel-Coated Christianity
We all have things in our lives which are dear to us which are not of God that we do not want to give up. Such things that keep us from truly possessing a rock solid faith in God, that stop us from taking bold, uncompromising stands for God, that don allow us to be used of God to defeat sin and evil in the world. The Word of God today calls us to make a choice. Making the wrong choice will be deadly. God has created us for His glory: He has a destiny that He wants us to fulfill that requires that we leave the middle ground, repair our broken altars, turn from our sin, and choose God above all else - and when we do so, God will respond by sending the heavenly rain of His fiery presence into our hearts, our lives, our families, our church, and our community!
