Shepherd Groups
We are very excited to announce and invite you to join a new Shepherd Group starting soon! Pastor Leland will be beginning a new series and each Shepherd Group may choose to follow along or they may choose to study another topic from God's Word.
Our prayer is that God would use this season before us to deepen our relationships with God and with one another. So that we might "passionately proclaim the glory of God in Christ for the joy of all people.

Sunday: Youth Girls 9 - 10 am We will be looking at the book by Elizabeth George called “A Young Woman After God's Own Heart.” Great times of study, discussion, prayer and friendship! Led by Judy Barker & Esme Nell. Youth Boys 9 - 10 am We get together on Sunday mornings to study the sermon passage and pray for the morning service. Great times of study, discussion, prayer and friendship! Led by Micah Botzet. Shepherding a Child's Heart 6 - 7:30 pm Join us as we watch a DVD series by Tedd Tripp aimed at investigating what it means to raise our children in the Lord and how the youth ministry can partner with parents. Led by Jack and Grace Tsai; Jim and Michelle Fowler. Tuesday: Tuesday Young Adults Shepherd Group 7 - 8:30 pm We discuss faith, eat food, drink coffee, enjoy life and support each other. Aside from the Tuesday groups we love to plan times to have fun and get to know each other better through games, eating and various outings/events. Led by Jim Fowler. Wednesday: Wednesday Evening Shepherd Group 1; 7:00-8:30 We will be going through the history of the Bible and how to interpret the Bible. Led by Pastor Leland and Nancy. Wednesday Evening Shepherd Group 2; 7:00-8:30 The Rusts will be doing an in-depth study on the theology of the doctrines of grace through a DVD series done by John Piper. Wednesday Evening Shepherd Group 3; 7:30-8:30 We will be studying the Sunday message that Pastor Leland brings just as we did in the fall. Led by Jake and Sandy Wiebe. Wednesday Evening Ladies Shepherd Group We are continuing to work through "Christ in Isaiah" by Dr. F.B.Meyer. Led by Pam Mann |
Thursday: Thursday Morning Ladies Shepherd Group What do we do and where do we go when joy is elusive? What do we do when we sense that we don’t really desire God …. or do we? Our Thursday morning Ladies Bible Study from 9:45-11 a.m. will be looking to God to answer those questions and more. We will be going through John Pipers series on “When I Don’t Desire God - How To Fight For Joy”. Sr High Guys Shepherd Group 3:45 - 5 pm Join us as we discuss common issues that teens are facing today and how to deal with them from a biblical perspective. Led by Jim Fowler Sr High Girls Shepherd Group 6 - 7 pm Join us as we discuss common issues that teens are facing today and how to deal with them from a biblical perspective. Led by Michelle Fowler Thursday Evening Shepherd Group 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm We will be studying the Sunday message that Pastor Leland brings just as we did in the fall. This method of bible study was really enjoyed as we discussed how the message spoke to us personally while we answered the study questions. The messages were excellent and this method of study not only gives us a repeat but also the opportunity to really internalize what God was saying through our Pastor. Friday: Friday Night Men’s 1; 7-8 p.m. This slow-paced group has an emphasis on understanding and answering questions. Join other men to who the Bible, reading it and learning from it is new. Led by Jake Wiebe. Friday Night Men’s 2; 7-8 p.m. Join in for an in-depth Bible study. It involves discussing a Bible passage together to learn what it says and what God wants to do in and through us. Led by Jake Wiebe. |
