Young Adults' Ministry
As a ministry of Arrowsmith Baptist Church, the Young Adults Group strives to fulfill the mission statement of the church in 3 ways:
1. To disciple Christians into maturity.
-Focusing on God's Word, prayer, worship and service in our community.
-Training, Empowering and Sending members to reach out to friends/family that are unsure about their faith and have no church affiliation, with the Great News of Jesus Christ.
2. To care for individuals who are unsure about their faith.
3. To connect/integrate with the larger body at Arrowsmith Baptist Church.
-Our faith walk is not to be lived in a vacuum, separate from each other and alone. Along that same line, it is unhealthy to completely separate individuals based on ages. There is a richness when young and old come together and it is that richness that we want to encourage and enable.
What We Do
Our groups meet every Tuesday 7-8:30 PM at the church, starting in the multi-purpose room as a large group then splitting off into smaller discussion groups. We discuss faith, eat food, drink coffee, enjoy life and support each other.
Aside from the Tuesday groups we love to plan times to have fun and get to know each other better through games, eating and various outings/events.
