This info session is for anyone who would like to learn more about Shelter and the opportunity to travel to El Salvador to build and provide safe homes for families. Work alongside the families and experience the joy that a new home brings!

With heartfelt gratitude to our local community and Shelter team, we are given the privilege to provide not only a home but also new hope, fresh beginnings, and cherished memories to the people of El Salvador. 

This is a unique opportunity for us to work shoulder to shoulder with Local Shelter builders,as well as our El Salvadorian friends and even the family members receiving the new home. 

As the shovels break the ground, panels are secured to frames, and door locks click into place, the joy will reverberate from El Savador to our hometown of Port Alberni, for there is no greater satisfaction than extending love to our fellow brothers and sisters.

Fundraising Ideas:

​Bring your unsorted containers in sealed, clear/transparent 70-75L bags to the Express Depot at 3680 4th Ave. (in the alley) Pick up labels at the Church office or print them at the Express Kiosk using the church phone number, 250-724-7272. Print your tags, tag your bags, and leave them there. They'll sort and count the containers and our Arrowsmith Express Account will be credited with your deposit refund.
